Hey y’all! Thrilled to be here for the relaunch.
I’m currently focusing heavily on growing my direct business this quarter. My background is heavily rooted in the tax space, so I’ve been looking at how to best bridge that gap and market my mobile/RON notary services directly to nonprofits, boards, and legal entities that handle tax-exempt organization paperwork.
I’d love to know: Is anyone else here pairing their notary business with another professional niche like tax, accounting, or legal services? If so, how are you successfully cross-marketing your services to get direct clients?
Good luck!

Welcome to the community — and congratulations on the relaunch! Your background in tax and accounting is a genuinely powerful differentiator in the notary space.
You’re already thinking about this the right way. Here are some strategies that could work well for your niche:
Target your existing network first. If you’ve worked with nonprofits, legal entities, or boards in your tax work, those are warm leads. They already trust you professionally and now you can offer an additional service that saves them time finding a separate notary.
Lead with the convenience angle. Many organizations handling tax-exempt paperwork, IRS documents, or board resolutions need notarizations regularly. Position yourself as the “one call handles both” professional — it reduces their vendor list and builds loyalty.
RON is a game-changer for this niche. Remote online notarization means you can serve national nonprofits and organizations without geographic limits, which aligns perfectly with your background.
Content marketing works well here — consider posting educational content about notarization requirements for nonprofits, boards, or tax-exempt organizations on LinkedIn. It positions you as the expert and attracts direct inbound clients.
Update your Notary Lotus profile to highlight both your notary certifications and your tax/accounting background. That dual expertise sets you apart in a directory search.
This is a really smart niche to build in — would love to hear how it develops for you!
